Microsoft Ending Skype Calls to Phones In India in November 10.

Microsoft announced that it is withdrawing the Skype call service to Indian landlines and mobiles from within India, effective November 10.

While Skype users in India will no longer be able call Indian landlines and mobiles from November 10, they will still be able to send SMS messages to mobiles from within India.

Additionally, if they are travelling outside of India, users will be able to call on Indian landlines and mobiles from their Skype account. Microsoft says that there are no further changes and other services will continue as normal. Users will be able to make free Skype-to-Skype calls within India and outside, international Skype calls from India to landlines and mobiles in other countries and more.
